Our mission at TequilaJudging.com is to provide the tequila industry
with a cost effective way to get consumer feedback from experienced
and knowledgeable aficionados. In addition to the consumer
feedback, we will also provide the products with an economical way of
advertising and provide additional information about their products on
our website. With each judge going through a rigorous training
program, having judges paying dues to be part of the program, having
an ever growing number of judges, and having judgings with numerous
differences from most other judging sites we are able to provide
products with a judging experience different from any other to date. It
is with great pleasure that we are able to offer this opportunity to the
tequila industry and share the our experience through this website.

Some of the Main Differences From Other Judgings
- Lower Costs - Our fees charged for judging products is only a
small fraction of what many other judging sites tend to charge.
- Judges Pay to Become Judges - Unlike many other sites, our
judges have to pay for their training fees while continuing to pay
yearly dues to be part of this judging experience.
- Judges Go Through Extensive Training - Each judge must go
through extensive training on how to rate and judge products before
they are able to review any of the submitted products on this site.
- More Opportunity For Judgings Per Year - Different from
many other judging sites, we will have numerous opportunities
throughout the year for reviews. We truly feel that certain products
will receive different reviews based on the different times of year.
Many of us prefer different types of tequila at different times of year
so, in our opinion, having only one tasting time per year could sway
the judging.
- Products Can be Submitted Numerous Times Per Year - It
is for the above reasoning that we will also allow products to be
submitted as many times as possible throughout the year. Due to a
review being a snapshot of an opinion at one point in time, we think it
is beneficial to allow as many opportunities for the snapshots as each
brand wants. Thus, if a brand submits the same product numerous
times per year all of the reviews will show on this site for them. We will
not provide an average of the numerous ratings nor will we only show
the highest rating. Instead, each review will be posted in order from
newest to oldest on their personal page on our site.

We truly believe in providing the best possible reviews and
understand that there can be numerous things that may effect a
review in both positive and negative ways. We plan to do our
best at eliminating factors that can negatively effect reviews.
Some of these include corked bottles, differences in tasting
environments, aeration, untrained judges, etc. By examining
and preventing the negative effects and by providing these
numerous benefits we hope to increase the effectiveness and
quality of our reviews while providing our customers with the
best experience possible.
